First day of tri-schedule

Okay - nothing unusual today - spin at 5:45 - not an extend class - Marissa and the other guy (I can never remember his name) team taught. I need to work on my endurance - my heart rate was a little too high during the racing track and also the interval track.
I realize this is not "true" tri training, HOWEVER, I need to start somewhere, and removing some weight first is almost as important as working on the training and endurance.
Running and weight training tomorrow!
Oh - going to try K's plan - the 100 push-ups and 200 crunch programs. Crunches will probably be easier for me - I've always sucked at push-ups!

Motivation

Okay - a friend of mine in Florida has motivated me to start on a triathlon kick. I'm not talking a full iron man - but a sprint tri (not as scary).
I've got a training plan I've downloaded, and I'm using a lot of her resources to help me with my goals - including eating.
I've got another friend here that is helping me with my swimming. So, starting tomorrow - it's back to work on this plan. It's pretty do-able and not too scary :)
